As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for the bizarre and a soft spot for pizza, I must admit that Pizza Hut Taiwan has once again outdone themselves with their latest Halloween creation. Having traveled the globe in search of unique gaming experiences, I’ve encountered my fair share of peculiar delicacies, but this one takes the cake…or should I say, the pizza?
In Taiwan, Pizza Hut takes pizza to a unique level compared to the U.S. Their latest invention is not for the faint-hearted or timid. This Halloween specialty features a monster’s face on the pizza with peculiar hands extending over it. The fingers are elongated and span across most of the eerie pizza, making it perfect for those who dare to indulge.
Different toppings fill the pizza, tasting much better than their spooky appearance suggests. Deep-fried squid tentacles form the ghoulish hands on the pizza. On the other hand….see what I did there…the monster’s eyes are actually preserved eggs.
Mochi-based crust envelops the pizza, with a distinct edge, surrounded by savory pig blood cakes. Sweet and spicy cherry tomatoes adorn the mochi top, while the entire dish is blanketed in a layer of melted mozzarella cheese. To complete it, garlic crisps provide a delightful crunch on top.
Previously, Pizza Hut Taiwan has created Halloween-themed pizzas. For instance, last year they crafted a unique chicken feet pizza designed to resemble spooky ghosts. The year prior, they offered an “eyeball” pizza.
