A message at the end of the game’s trailer clarifies that it will also be available on PC. However, it won’t be released on other consoles – like Xbox or Nintendo Switch – for at least a year after its initial launch. This means those versions likely won’t appear until after September 9, 2027, when the exclusivity period ends.
Phantom Blade Zero, created by S-GAME, is an action role-playing game that blends the style of ‘Wuxia’ – seen in games like Where Winds Meet and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers – with current gameplay trends. Importantly, it’s not a difficult ‘Souls-like’ game, which will likely appeal to players looking for something different.
Phantom Blade Zero’s story should take players between 20 and 30 hours to complete, with an additional 20 hours of optional side content. The game aims to make boss battles less frustrating by letting players restart from the second phase after a defeat, skipping the need to replay earlier sections.
