Petit Planet closed beta test start date announced

HoYoverse has announced that the closed beta for their new relaxing game, Petit Planet, will begin on November 7, 2025. This “Coziness Test” will be available on both PC and iOS, and you can still register to participate on the game’s official website.

Petit Planet is coming to PC, iOS, and Android, with plans to release on even more platforms. HoYoverse announced they’re working on expanding to multiple platforms, and sources at DBLTAP suggest a Nintendo Switch version is also in development.

HoYoverse’s official description of Petit Planet reads as follows:

I’m so excited about Petit Planet! You basically get your own little planet to take care of and connect with others out in space. It all starts on your planet, and soon these cute, fuzzy neighbors start linking up with you. The more you connect, the more your planet grows, and this energy, called Luca, actually changes the landscape and makes everything feel alive and unique. It’s like watching your own little world blossom!

Life on Petit Planet is peaceful and inspiring, offering opportunities for creativity, friendship, and adventure. You can grow unique crops under the starry sky, fish in clear waters, search the beaches for treasures, and discover new recipes by experimenting with ingredients. As you explore and learn, you’ll build strong relationships with the other residents of the planet – your Neighbors – each with their own unique background and aspirations. They’ll also be invaluable companions as you journey across the Starsea to discover new islands in your vehicle.

Beyond the main game, Petit Planet will let players connect and interact in a central meeting place called the Galactic Bazaar. This hub will also feature cooperative rhythm-based mini-games that players can enjoy together.
