Persona 5: The Phantom X Version 2.3 patch notes

P5X Version 2.3 is now available, letting players continue the main story! This update includes phase two of four planned content releases, and excitingly, it introduces the alenrate 110 banner system. This new system makes it easier and more affordable to get the best characters and items in the game, requiring fewer contracts and jewels.

Main Story Chapter 3 Phase 2

Okay, so the biggest news with this update is that part 2 of the new story chapter is finally here! I’m super excited to really dig into the latest Palace and figure out what’s going on with all its weird stuff. They’ve also opened up a new section in Mementos, which means even more exploring. And, of course, there’s a bunch of new quests to complete – perfect for farming up Meta Jewels and Joy Medallions. Can’t wait to jump in!

New Phanom Idol – Kira Kitazato (Messa)

Meet Kira Kitazato, codename Messa, our newest 5-star Phantom! This powerful Assassin excels at dealing high physical damage. He has a unique dual personality: in Doctor mode, he causes enemies to bleed, and then switches to Ripper mode to capitalize on that bleeding and unleash even more devastating attacks.

Returning Phantom Idol – Yui (Bui)

Bui is returning for a limited time! This powerful Electric-type damage dealer focuses on dealing consistent, small amounts of damage, and she has a unique ability: she can link with another character to trigger extra attacks and provide a bonus whenever she acts. If you didn’t get a chance to add Bui to your team before, now’s the perfect opportunity!

New Contract system – 110 Banners

We’ve finally launched the new banner system you’ve been waiting for! When you try for a 5-star character, you can now choose between the standard “Chance” system or the new “Targeted” contract. You can find a detailed explanation in our guide comparing the two, but here’s the quick version: “Chance” uses the original odds, while “Targeted” contracts guarantee you’ll get the featured “Most Wanted” character within 110 pulls.

Synergy Bond updates

The latest update, Version 2.3, finishes Kira Kitazato’s story arc. You can now fully develop your bond with him, reaching Rank 20. Check out our P5X Synergy Bond guide for a detailed walkthrough on how to do it.

City Life updates

This update brings some fun improvements to City Life! Band Club now features more songs, letting you challenge yourself with its tricky rhythm gameplay. You can also enjoy new movies at the theaters in Yongen-Jaya and Shibuya, which are great for improving your social skills. Plus, there are more collectible sets available in the Capsule Machines if you’re looking to spend your Yen.
