Disney+ has released a new trailer for season two of Percy Jackson, offering fans a first look at what’s coming up for the young hero. This season will cover the events of the second book, The Sea of Monsters, and will begin streaming on December 10th.
You’re not dreaming! The first two episodes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 will be available on Disney+ and Hulu starting December 10th.

A year after the events of the first season, Percy returns to Camp Half-Blood to find it in danger from Kronos’s army. His friend Grover is missing, and Percy embarks on a perilous journey across the Sea of Monsters to find the Golden Fleece and save his friends.
The show will return for a second season, which was confirmed in February 2024. Disney+ has also greenlit a third season, set to cover the events of ‘The Titan’s Curse.’ In April 2024, Albert Kim came on board as an executive producer for season two. Writers began working on season two in March 2023, and they started developing season three by late February of this year.
The show was filmed in Vancouver from August 1, 2024, to January 31. Viewers can expect more exciting adventures and obstacles for Percy and his companions, and the series will delve deeper into the backstories of characters like Chiron, including an exploration of his disability.
As a huge Percy Jackson fan, I’m really excited about the new season! From what I’ve seen, it looks like they’re building on everything we loved in season one – the adventure, the emotion, the whole magical world – but taking it even further. The trailer has me totally hooked with hints of some seriously dangerous quests and awesome encounters. December 10th can’t come soon enough!
