Actor Pedro Pascal, known for his roles in Marvel productions, voices criticism against author J.K. Rowling after the U.K. Supreme Court’s recent decision on transgender rights.
Pedro Pascal is an advocate for transgender rights, following his sister Lux Pascal’s public announcement in 2021 that she identifies as a transgender woman.
Although J.K. Rowling is known for her work like Harry Potter, she expresses disagreement with the concept of transgender women participating in women’s sports. Additionally, she advocates for specialized aid and assistance for females who are survivors of sexual assault.
The criticism of author J.K. Rowling about the U.K.’s court ruling defining womanhood biologically was made by a trans activist writer for IGN, which caught the attention of actor Pedro Pascal.
Pedro Pascal responds
The author writing for IGN criticized J.K. Rowling’s actions by labeling them as “despicable, Voldemort-like behavior,” and urged his audience to refrain from supporting or buying any Harry Potter-related products.
The IGN author stated, “Our goal, as the general public, is now to ensure that everything connected to Harry Potter falls short.
Under the post’s comments, Pascal, the star of this summer’s Marvel blockbuster, Fantastic Four, concurred and expressed, “Atrocious filthiness perfectly describes it. Despicable actions of a loser.
