On Sunday, February 15th, Pedro Pascal and Rafael Olarra were seen walking arm-in-arm in New York City’s Lower East Side. They seemed to be enjoying a casual outing, doing a little sightseeing before having lunch together.
Even though it was very cold, both men appeared cheerful as they explored the neighborhood. Pascal dressed warmly in layers, wearing a hoodie under a denim jacket and topped with a thick cardigan. It was a smart and stylish choice for someone who often works on film sets in various locations around the world.
Olarra, however, seemed much more comfortable in the New York winter, opting for a simple yet stylish look. The former Chilean footballer, who now works as a creative director for the Faena hotel group, wore a smart navy peacoat over a dark gray sweater.
Both men looked great, but Olarra’s more streamlined outfit suggested he was well-suited to the cold city weather. The outing has naturally caught the attention of fans, as both were born in Santiago, Chile, and are close friends.
Olarra was previously in a relationship with actor Luke Evans for several years, which ended in early 2021. Since then, he’s been focused on his design career, while Pascal has kept his personal life private despite becoming increasingly famous.

Pedro Pascal is currently in New York during a relatively quiet moment in what’s been an incredibly busy time for his career. The 50-year-old actor has been a major topic of conversation lately thanks to his debut as Reed Richards in the new Marvel film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
That film, which also features Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn, has cemented his status as a leading man after years of being known as a fantastic supporting actor. And beyond his superhero work, Pascal has a very busy summer ahead.
He’ll be returning as Din Djarin in The Mandalorian & Grogu, a highly anticipated film coming to theaters in May, directed by Jon Favreau. This marks a big step for the Star Wars franchise, bringing the story to the big screen, and for Pascal’s popular character.
Fans are excited to see Pedro Pascal back for the third season of HBO’s The Last of Us, which just started filming after the huge popularity of season two in 2025. With projects for Marvel, Star Wars, and HBO keeping him busy, a relaxed Sunday lunch in the city is a rare treat for Pascal.
