Rowling’s seemingly insensitive response to the UK Supreme Court’s significant ruling, which asserts that transgender women are not recognized as women under the law. In an Instagram post by activist Tariq Ra’ouf advocating for a boycott of future Harry Potter productions, Pascal referred to Rowling as a “detestable failure.

According to Tariq Ra’ouf’s statement in his post, it seems like he and the general public have taken upon themselves a mission to ensure that all Harry Potter-related things fail. This is because they find it distasteful and disagreeable, holding the belief that such content carries negative impacts.
