Being from Boston, I can tell you we’re not always the friendliest bunch! Honestly, it’s tough – the weather is awful for most of the year, and the traffic? Forget about it. Try dealing with that day in and day out and then see how nice you are. But there’s one Boston icon who always brings the charm, even if he swears like a sailor. And the best news? We finally have a date for season two of Ted! Peacock just dropped a great holiday gift: the new season will premiere next March, and the first pictures they released of Ted and John as high school seniors are exactly what I was hoping for.
Peacock has released a first look at the second season of its hit comedy, TED. A new poster shows the Bennet family all dressed up for the holidays, with a message that perfectly captures their quirky dynamic. The first photos from the season deliver exactly what fans are hoping for: lots of fun and silliness, featuring everything from family game nights and Ted relaxing in a hot tub to a school play and toys scattered around the house.

As for season two, here’s what we can expect from our favorite vulgar conscious stuffed animal:
It’s 1994, and Ted, a sarcastic teddy bear, and his friend John Bennett are starting their senior year of high school. They live in Boston with John’s family: his parents, Matty and Susan, and cousin Blaire. Matty is a loud, working-class man who likes to be in charge and often argues with his more liberal niece. Susan is a kind and incredibly sweet mother and wife, always putting her family first. Blaire is a college student who frequently disagrees with her more conservative relatives.

The show Ted was created by Seth MacFarlane, who also writes, directs, and voices the title character. Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh are also executive producers and co-showrunners. The series stars Max Burkholder, Alanna Ubach, Scott Grimes, and Giorgia Whigham.
The second season, with eight episodes, will premiere on Peacock on Thursday, March 5, 2026. It’s a great time for those in Boston, as the weather is still pretty bad then. Watching TED might help lift everyone’s spirits.
