The first trailer for Peacock’s The Office spinoff series, The Paper, is here.
As a gaming enthusiast diving into this new narrative, I’m eagerly anticipating the shift from the iconic Dunder Mifflin office in Scranton, Pennsylvania to the bustling newsroom of the Toledo Truth Teller in Toledo, Ohio. In this fresh series called The Paper, I find myself stepping into the shoes of Ned Sampson, portrayed by Domhnall Gleeson, as he joins a dedicated yet green team of journalists. Despite our lack of experience, the new Editor-in-Chief is hell-bent on breathing new life into this historic Midwestern newspaper, and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds!
Alongside Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, and Tim Key make up the principal cast. Oscar Nuñez reappears in his role from The Office but opts out of any filmed content.
Watch the trailer above. The Paper premieres on Peacock on September 4.
