Paul Simon is widely considered one of the greatest songwriters of the 1900s, and he’s always delivered fantastic, though often subtle, live shows. While the setlists change, his consistently high-quality concerts continue, even after his first retirement announcement following a tour in 2019.
Great news for fans! Simon has announced a new set of tour dates for 2026. The shows will run throughout the summer, starting in early June in Palo Alto, California, and wrapping up with two performances in mid-July in Ravinia, Illinois. This ‘A Quiet Celebration Tour’ builds on his 2025 tour and will include even more locations.
Every concert is divided into two halves. First, Simon performs his 2023 album, Seven Psalms, from beginning to end. After a short break, he comes back on stage to play some of his most popular and well-loved songs from throughout his career.
Paul Simon announces 20-show run of 2026 tour dates
Paul Simon will be joined on stage by a talented group of musicians, including his wife of 33 years, Edie Brickell, who will contribute vocals and guitar. The band also features Mark Stewart and Gyan Riley on guitar, Bakithi Kumalo on bass, Andy Snitzer on saxophone, Jamey Haddad on percussion, Mick Rossi on keyboards, Matt Chamberlin on drums, and Nancy Stagnitta on flute, along with Caleb Burhans on viola and Eugene Friesen on cello.
Tickets for the tour become available on Friday, February 6th, at 10:00 AM local time. You can find more details on Paul Simon’s website.
