Title hints at the sad demise of a mythical creature, a unicorn, in this movie. Rudd and Ortega, portraying a father-daughter duo, seem to have accidentally struck and presumably killed this magical beast during their journey towards a retreat. After all, unicorns may be delightful and charming, but they are generally considered non-existent in our world.
As a fan, I must admit, rather than honoring this enchanting being’s life, it seems there’s a wealthy individual who seeks to capitalize on its healing properties. Enter a tycoon (Richard E. Grant), whose team uncovers the fact that this creature holds the key to curing diseases like cancer. However, things take a turn when Mama Unicorn arrives in search of her kidnapped baby, who is being held captive and subjected to experiments. Suffice it to say, instead of using its alicorn for healing, it employs it as a weapon. In essence, the trailer for “Death of a Unicorn” looks like an entertaining ride full of excitement.
