Adams confessed that his mental health issues were worsened by the fact he found it difficult to express or discuss his emotions, which essentially meant he was neglecting his mental well-being.
In reflecting on my life at the close of the seventh season, I admitted to an excessive consumption of alcohol. This habit served as a means for me to deal with feelings of depression, and it wasn’t my only unhealthy coping mechanism; I also found myself overspending.

In my own words, I admitted, “I had been consuming alcohol excessively, and there were numerous tasks I ought to have been attending to, but unfortunately, I was neglecting them.
In my own journey, I recognized that I was lacking the necessary tools to handle my emotions effectively, which drove me towards alcohol as a means to hide my feelings. Regrettably, at that time, I didn’t reach out for help through therapy or other supportive methods, despite being aware that it could have significantly improved my mental wellbeing.
In 2018, I bid farewell to Suits, but my personal struggles persisted. A pivotal moment arrived when I comprehended the profound effect my actions were having on my loved ones, particularly my marriage with the talented Troian Bellisario, and our precious offspring.
Adams confided that he’s attempting to carry on living his life as if he were in his youthful twenties, all the while grappling with doubts and apprehensions that are adversely impacting his private affairs.
He mentioned that he’s attempting to maintain a lifestyle reminiscent of a 25-year-old, repeating old habits to address his insecurities and fears, but these strategies aren’t proving effective.
