On July 10, 2025, game developer Pocketpair released an update (Patch 0.6.2) for Palworld on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. This update is relatively small but includes important bug fixes and resolutions to various issues within the game.
This recent update provided the much-anticipated fix for the PS5’s persistent save game troubles, which had been troubling gamers for some time. Meanwhile, Xbox users can breathe a sigh of relief as Pocketpair addressed an unexpected graphical issue in their games.
Regarding the problem of characters named “Pals” vanishing from the Dimensional Pal Storage within the game, the developers have identified the source and implemented a solution to address this annoying glitch.

- Fixed an issue where Pals in a Dimensional Pal Storage would disappear under certain conditions.
- Optimized the memory usage to reduce the likelihood of crashes when playing for a long time. Fixed an issue where graphics would deteriorate greatly in some cases on Xbox.
- Fixed an issue where save/load could fail on PS5.
- Limited the number of save data items on PS5 to a maximum of 10.
