The debut episode of Saturday Night Live (SNL) originally aired on October 11, 1975, with comedian George Carlin as host. You might recall him from his well-known comedy routine about the seven words you can’t say on TV. Interestingly, at that time, the show wasn’t yet known as SNL; it was called NBC’s Saturday Night. The latest movie titled “Saturday Night” offers a look into the chaotic process of the live broadcast for the first time. While not the greatest film ever made, it certainly sheds light on what happened that October night.

The threesome will be added to the previously announced ensemble featuring Hugh Jackman and Jodie Comer, who headline the movie. As per the official summary, the story revolves around Jackman’s portrayal of Robin Hood, confronting his violent past.

In an interview with IGN, the actor who took over the role of the beloved Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero mentioned that donning his white mask and red goggles often felt more like a dreadful dream rather than a regular part of his day.
