Now, with the aftermath of customer spend rationalization gradually subsiding, Amplitude appears stronger than it has in a while – a testament to our resilience and adaptability!
Indeed, the stock price has significantly increased recently, climbing approximately 56% within the past year due to investors’ positive reactions to the company’s progress in its product offerings. Yet, it is crucial for investors to pay close attention to something at present.
What can Amplitude do with AI?
In a smaller market, Amplitude – with a valuation under $2 billion – appears to be just as prepared as any other company of similar size to take advantage of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

In June, the company unveiled their latest addition – Amplitude AI agents. These agents are equipped to perform various tasks such as generating reports, conducting database searches, testing theories, and identifying high-potential leads.
Among various AI agent models, you’ll find website conversion agents, onboarding agents, feature adoption agents, and monetization agents. These agents are designed to enhance key aspects of user interaction that many businesses aim to achieve in their online operations.
In July, Amplitude continued with their progress by purchasing Kraftful, a startup specializing in AI-driven Voice of the Customer (VoC). By integrating Kraftful’s unique large language model (LLM), Amplitude aims to leverage vast amounts of user feedback data more effectively. This acquisition will empower Amplitude to strengthen its hold on the insights generated from the data its software collects, ultimately enhancing the worth of their product line for customers.
What’s next for Amplitude
To start off, Amplitude saw a 12% increase in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and a 10% rise in total revenue during the first quarter of this year. This marks a positive shift compared to previous years.
The company also experienced an increase in ongoing contractual commitments from customers, which climbed by 30% to reach $325.9 million. This suggests that customers are opting for longer-term contracts, indicating a potential return of growth following several years of high customer turnover due to the pandemic.
As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but marvel at Amplitude’s impressive customer base! This dynamic platform has over 4,000 clients spanning diverse industries, from tech titans to consumer giants and robust industrial powerhouses. To add to its prestige, a whopping 27% of the Fortune 100 companies are among its clientele, demonstrating that it’s not just catering to small-scale businesses but also winning over large corporations as well!
Observing bumps arising from the latest AI agents might necessitate some patience, yet these new products are likely to significantly speed up Amplitude’s expansion in the long run.
The business has been ranked first in the field of product analytics by G2, a research agency, and it has successfully taken over market shares previously held by bigger competitors such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics. Unlike these competitors who primarily focus on marketing analytics, this company excels more in product analytics.
In a rapidly growing sector of software, Amplitude, valued at only $1.5 billion, offers significant future prospects. Should their innovative AI agents find popularity, the value of the stock might significantly increase.
