Cartoon Network’s Over the Garden Wall is a beloved animated miniseries that many fans still cherish. Even though it only originally aired ten episodes almost twelve years ago, it’s become a popular comfort show, especially during the fall. Currently available on Hulu, Over the Garden Wall will soon have a physical release – a Blu-ray edition – which is fantastic news for devoted viewers.

Over the Garden Wall tells the story of brothers Wirt and Greg, who get lost in a strange and magical forest called The Unknown. As they try to find their way home, they meet a lot of interesting characters, like a secretive woodsman, a talking bluebird named Beatrice, and many more. Pursuing them is a shadowy figure known as The Beast.
Amazon has announced that the Blu-ray version of the series will be available on April 7th. While we don’t yet know what extra features it will include, we’re hoping for some bonus content. If it’s similar to the Blu-ray released in the UK, fans can expect things like episode commentary, a behind-the-scenes look, the original short film Tome of the Unknown, deleted scenes, and a special cut of the show’s music.
A simple DVD of Over the Garden Wall came out in 2015, but waiting a little longer could be worth it if it means getting a version with bonus features. Hopefully, a special edition would include the 2024 animated short Cartoon Network created to celebrate the show’s tenth anniversary.
Where can I buy Over The Garden Wall on Blu-ray?
