While exploring Paradise Island, you’ll find Mysterious Cave. Inside, you’ll notice a lever you can’t move yet, and a note suggesting the cave has a backstory. It also has a fast travel point, hinting it’s a significant spot. Just be aware that if you visit too soon, nothing will happen.

How to pull the lever in Mysterious Cove – Outer Worlds 2
To access Mysterious Cove, you’ll first need to meet Inez, who is one of your companions in Outer Worlds 2. You’ll encounter her while progressing through the main story at the Ministry of Accuracy. After you’ve completed the Ministry, you’ll be able to recruit Inez to your crew. Once she joins you, she’ll explain that she needs help with a problem related to her cybernetic implants, which starts the quest called “Better Than Nature”.
Continue the quest by speaking with Ethel Tinsley. She’ll send you to Mysterious Cove to draw out the Skeleton Crabble. When you arrive, Inez will start a conversation, allowing you to activate a device and battle this miniboss.
