On one hand, I’m disappointed that the much-anticipated Season 2 is taking a bit longer to reach us. But on the other, as someone who cherishes quality over quantity, I understand and appreciate the decision made by Studio Palette and the production team.
In July 2024, the second season of Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World premiered, airing episodes weekly. However, Studio Palette and the show’s staff decided to delay the broadcast to ensure top-notch production quality. Originally scheduled for August 7, 2024, Episode 5 of Season 2 was postponed due to this commitment to story quality, as announced by the production committee on their platform (previously known as Twitter).
The KimiSen 2 team is dedicated to collaborating with author Kei Sazane, the original novel’s editorial department, and the production studio. Together, we aim to fulfill the anticipation of fans by putting our best efforts into the remaining episodes. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding during this process.
Kei Sazane, the original author of the light novel series, recently expressed his thoughts on a platform similar to Twitter. He expressed sincere apologies for any discomfort some fans might feel. As the creator himself, he believes it’s crucial to alleviate concerns by openly discussing the bright future of ‘KimiSen Season 2’. The delay in Season 2 is due to a positive development: they aim to create a version of ‘Kimi Sen’ that offers an even better viewing experience.
