‘EverAfter’ (1998)

Drew Barrymore and Anjelica Huston lead this fresh take on ‘Cinderella,’ set during the Renaissance and directed by Andy Tennant. The film reimagines the classic fairy tale as a historical romance, inspired by Charles Perrault’s original 1697 story. It focuses more on the characters and the details of the time period than on magical elements, and also features Dougray Scott and Jeanne Moreau. They unexpectedly score an interview with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, and the CIA then asks them to carry out a dangerous mission: assassinating him. The film is directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, and stars James Franco and Randall Park. Filming happened in Vancouver in late 2013, and the movie came out in theaters and online in December 2014. It’s remembered as one of Sony’s first big achievements with digital distribution.

‘Last Holiday’ (2006)

Queen Latifah plays Georgia Byrd, a shop worker who decides to fulfill her lifelong dreams after receiving unexpected medical news. She uses her savings to embark on an adventure. Wayne Wang directed the film, which also stars LL Cool J, Gérard Depardieu, and Timothy Hutton. Lasting just over an hour and fifty minutes, this romantic comedy-drama is inspired by a British film from the 1950s with the same title and was released by Paramount Pictures.

‘A Very Jonas Christmas Movie’ (2025)

The Jonas Brothers – Kevin, Joe, and Nick – embark on a chaotic race from London to New York to get home for the holidays. This special features new, original songs and is directed by Jessica Yu. It includes a sweet cameo appearance by Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s daughter, Malti, and premiered on November 14, 2025. You can stream it now on both Hulu and Disney+.

‘The Roses’ (2025)
