Oscar Isaac is doubling down on his anti-Disney attitude, and this time it’s in public.
A recent fan video captures Oscar Isaac declining to autograph a Spider-Verse item, despite readily signing other things, such as posters for his upcoming film, Frankenstein.

Isaac Turns Down a Spider-Verse Item
In the clip, a fan politely asks: “Oscar, can I get you on this one, please?”
Isaac looks at the item and responds: “No. I’m not going to sign that.”
The collectible featured Spider-Man 2099 (Miguel O’Hara), the character Isaac voiced in the movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
Isaac signed most of the items fans asked for, signing every other one. He only didn’t sign the item from Spider-Verse, which is a Marvel property.

Spider-Verse Is Sony… But the Character Is Still Marvel
Although the Spider-Verse movies are produced by Sony, not Disney, the character Spider-Man 2099 (Miguel O’Hara) belongs to Marvel, and the films clearly feel like a Marvel production.
Considering Isaac recently criticized Disney and stated he’s hesitant to collaborate with them until they address what he views as problematic practices, his decision not to work with them isn’t surprising. He previously said he wouldn’t work with Disney until they “figure it out and not succumb to fascism.”
It seems the actor is avoiding anything Disney-related… and now anything Marvel-branded, too.

Isaac’s Anti-Disney Streak Continues
Isaac recently told GQ that he’s effectively refusing to work with Disney, which puts his involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – and particularly a potential return as Moon Knight – in serious question, as that would necessitate working directly with Marvel Studios.
This new incident only reinforces that he wants nothing to do with Disney’s orbit.
Even though Spider-Verse is a Sony project, the Marvel connection was enough for Isaac to say no.
