Will Netflix’s Live-Action One Piece Drop All Its Episodes at Once? Or Will It Have a Release Schedule?
Netflix hasn’t announced when more episodes of One Piece will be released. We expect that when season two does arrive, all episodes will be available at the same time, rather than being released in batches or weekly.
How Many Episodes Will One Piece Season 2, Into the Grand Line, Have?
It’s still unclear exactly how many episodes will be in One Piece season two. Since the first season had eight episodes, we can expect the new season to be roughly the same length.
New One Piece Season 2 Images Celebrate Drum Island and the Release Date Announcement

To mark the release of One Piece season two, Netflix revealed photos from the Drum Island set in One Piece: Into the Grand Line. This perpetually wintry island has a distinctly eerie atmosphere. According to co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer Joe Tracz, Drum Kingdom is designed to feel like a medieval Winterfell from Game of Thrones, complete with a seemingly haunted castle on a snowy mountain and a resident villagers believe is a witch. It’s a spooky location that’s also home to many talented doctors and the birthplace of Tony Tony Chopper.

More About One Piece Season 2 ‘Into the Grand Line‘
Along with announcing when season two will premiere, Netflix has also revealed a brief description of what the new season is about.
Season 2 of Netflix’s live-action adventure series, ONE PIECE, is coming soon with even bigger challenges and more dangerous quests! Luffy and his Straw Hat crew are heading into the Grand Line—a famous and treacherous sea filled with both wonder and peril—in their search for the ultimate treasure. Along the way, they’ll discover strange islands and face off against powerful new enemies. ONE PIECE is a collaboration between Netflix, Shueisha, and Tomorrow Studios (part of ITV Studios).
According to Tracz, Season 2 will be much more epic in scope, featuring larger creatures and more fantastical settings – think giants, dinosaurs, and even the inside of a whale! The core idea for the new season is to simply make everything bigger and bolder. Building on the first season’s finale, where the crew vowed to pursue their dreams, Season 2 will truly put those ambitions to the test. Each island the Straw Hats visit will present a unique challenge tailored to one of the crew members, forcing them to learn the importance of teamwork to achieve their goals.
We can’t wait.
The second season of One Piece will be available on March 10, 2026. You can currently stream the first season on Netflix.
