On a chilly Sunday, November 24th, I found myself celebrating my little miracle’s third birthday – my precious Malcolm! Scrolling through Instagram to mark this special day, I couldn’t help but reminisce on the incredible journey he’s taken me on. With his plump, cherubic cheeks and sparkling eyes, he effortlessly melts my heart and instills a strength within me that I never knew I possessed.
She said, ‘This picture was captured a year ago, not long after I received the news about my breast cancer diagnosis.’ She went on to reminisce, ‘I cherish this moment because of that little boy. He’s helped me find strength in unexpected places and has softened me in ways I didn’t know I could be.’ On your birthday, dear one, you’ve opened up a part of my heart I never knew existed.
Previously, Munn mentioned that Malcolm provided her the strength to overcome cancer during an interview with People. In April, while speaking to this media outlet, the New Girl star disclosed that being with her son is the only moment when she forgets about her illness because she’s so engrossed in creating memories with him. Munn expressed gratitude towards her toddler for helping her see things more clearly and explained how it brings her peace knowing that she will always be his mother, regardless of the circumstances.
No matter if my appearance alters, I’ll always be his mother. Whether I experience hot flashes or hair loss, I remain his mother. What truly matters most to me is being able to be there for him, and that’s what I’m here to do,” she emotionally expressed.
In December 2021, the world caught a peek at Munn’s newborn son, showcasing both joy and strength, as she and her spouse, John Mulaney, posted drowsy photos of him on Instagram, unveiling his name to their followers.
