On a Friday, November 8th, I, a doting mom, took to Instagram to share heartwarming glimpses of my life with my two-month-old daughter, Méi. I posted several videos capturing our special moments and our attempts to soothe her by making her burp. As I was feeding Méi, I affectionately referred to us as “me and my girl,” highlighting the precious bond we share.
In a post on Instagram, the actress playing a role in X-Men: Apocalypse affectionately referred to her small daughter as her “fluffy, cuddly baby” by writing, “You’re so adorable, you’re so tiny!
On September 22nd, Munn announced that she had given birth to her new baby girl, Méi June Mulaney. She revealed that Méi was born on the 14th of September and this date is significant because it falls in the year of the dragon in 2024. In discussing her surrogate, Munn expressed her gratitude towards her, referring to her as a “real-life angel” for carrying their daughter for a healthy nine months.
In their own words, the actress from The Office Christmas Party expressed, “When I first encountered our surrogate, we communicated as mothers. She demonstrated tremendous grace and empathy towards me, which led me to believe I had found a genuine angel. Words fall short in expressing my heartfelt gratitude for ensuring our baby’s safety throughout her nine-month journey and making our dreams a reality.
She continued, “I am so proud of my little plum, my little dragon for making the journey to be with us. My heart has exploded. Méi (pronounced may) means plum in Chinese.”
According to People, comedian John Mulaney and actress Olivia Munn, who share a daughter Méi and a three-year-old son Malcolm Hiệp, exchanged vows in a small ceremony at a friend’s home in New York state last July. A source close to the couple shared that they are overjoyed and deeply content as they expand their family, with Mulaney hailing from Saturday Night Live and Munn known for her role in The Newsroom.
