As a seasoned moviegoer who’s witnessed countless films spanning various genres and cultures, I must say that the upcoming horror thriller O.T.H.E.R. has piqued my interest like no other. The combination of a gripping storyline, an accomplished cast, and the involvement of renowned production houses makes it a tantalizing proposition for any cinephile.

Voltage Pictures has obtained worldwide distribution rights for the horror-thriller movie O.T.H.E.R., featuring Olga Kurylenko as the main actress. This film, written and directed by David Moreau, revolves around Alice, portrayed by Kurylenko, who goes back to her childhood home following her mother’s unexpected demise. The story unfolds as she navigates the eerie house and uncovers long-buried secrets.

2025 will see the premiere of this movie in France. Come November, it will be showcased to global audiences at the American Film Market in Las Vegas. The film is a production of Clément Miserez and Matthieu Warter from Radar Films; they’ve previously worked on Faster, Belle et Sébastien, and UMedia productions. Bastien Sirodot and Cloé Garbay, associates at UMedia, were also involved in the project. To add to the cast, Jean Schatz is part of the supporting roles.

Nicolas Chartier, CEO of Voltage Pictures, shared his excitement about distributing the movie O.T.H.E.R. internationally, with its gripping suspense and deep emotions. He stated that this would be one of the robust offerings from Voltage. According to Deadline, Chartier said, “We are delighted to share O.T.H.E.R. with a worldwide audience. This film delivers nail-biting suspense and profound emotional resonance, making it an ideal fit for our collection.

In this movie, the story revolves around the character of Alice, played by Olga Kurylenko in Quantum of Solace. An intriguing twist unfolds when Alice encounters her old house, which remains unchanged, giving the impression that no time has elapsed since she last entered it.

While Alice explores during her stay, she slowly uncovers the unique aspects of her environment. Eventually, she discovers a chilling fact: a camera has been monitoring her, and an enigmatic figure seems to be following her, leading her towards a terrifying realization.

Initially penned by Moreau, the screenplay was subsequently translated into English by Jon Goldman, who has previously worked on films such as The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir (2018), Under the Tuscan Sun (2003), and the upcoming Girl in a Cloud.

As a lifestyle expert diving into the world of cinematography, I must share an intriguing behind-the-scenes story about the production of a recent spine-tingling horror thriller. Initially, our team aimed to create a terrifying experience for viewers, but as we delved deeper into the project, we found ourselves becoming the ones who were truly scared. The chilling atmosphere on set was palpable, making the final product even more unsettling.
