Official Trailer for ‘Primate’ Drops — A New Look at the Upcoming Chilling Horror

The first trailer for the upcoming horror film *Primate*, directed by Johannes Roberts, is now available. The movie features performances from Johnny Sequoyah, Jessica Alexander, and Oscar winner Troy Kotsur.

The film centers on a captivating and dramatic story, starring Johnny Sequoyah as Lucy, Jessica Alexander as Hannah, and Troy Kotsur as Adam. The supporting cast features Victoria Wyant, Gia Hunter, Benjamin Cheng, Charlie Mann, Tienne Simon, Miguel Torres Umba, Kae Alexander, Amina Abdi, and Albert Magashi.

The project officially started in mid-2024 when Paramount Pictures approved it. Johannes Roberts, who previously directed films like *47 Meters Down* and *The Strangers: Prey at Night*, wrote the screenplay with Ernest Riera.

Walter Hamada came on board as a producer thanks to his agreement with Paramount, and Troy Kotsur was one of the first actors to join the project. Director Roberts later announced that filming began in September 2024 and finished the following November, posting updates on his Instagram account.
