How to join the Mages Guild

If you’re unsure who the leader is, simply chat with the other members; they’ll guide you to the right person.

If you don’t have an ongoing bounty, the guild will welcome you right away, but they won’t let you enter the Arcane University just yet. First, you need to finish the “Join the Mages Guild” mission. To do this, you must visit every guild hall in Cryodill and complete a quest for the leader at each one. Once you have their recommendation, you can proceed further.
