In a typical Bethesda RPG, there’s always that nostalgic touch of bugs, and The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered is no exception to this rule. One bug that players are frequently experiencing is the “Charge the Courtyard” glitch, which surfaces during the Battle of Kvatch quest.
As soon as you let the Imperial Guard enter through the castle’s open gates, a massive horde of enemies rushes towards you simultaneously. If you manage to repel them, you’ll be given the opportunity to converse with Savlian Matius for further quest guidance, but instead of giving instructions, he keeps shouting “storm the courtyard” repeatedly.

How to fix the Charge the Courtyard glitch
As a gamer, I figured out that to sort out this bug, I’ve got to proceed with the quest on my own, leaving Savlian behind. I’ll need to brace myself for a string of battles against atronachs and Oblivion creatures. My objective is to push forward to the main bedroom at the heart of the castle.
