Nvidia Sold. So It Goes.

Nvidia, you see, doesn’t just make the little brains inside computers. They also fiddle with other companies, investing here and there. Applied Digital was one of those fiddlings. Now, Nvidia sold it all. Every share. Seems… decisive. So it goes.

Is something terrible happening? Probably not. But people get nervous when big players make moves. It’s a human condition. Like worrying about the weather, even when you have a roof.

Portfolio Adjustments. It Happens.

Nvidia has to tell everyone what it owns, because of rules. They file a report, a 13F, every few months. It’s like a public confession of financial sins. As of December 31, 2025, they owned a good chunk of Applied Digital – 7.7 million shares, worth about $177 million. Then, poof. Gone.

They also sold ARM Holdings last quarter. And SoundHound AI before that. Nvidia isn’t holding things forever, it seems. They’re more like a hummingbird, flitting from blossom to blossom. So it goes.

Just because Nvidia doesn’t believe in forever doesn’t mean you can’t. But let’s be honest, very few things last forever.

Applied Digital, for those keeping track, builds data centers. Big, humming boxes full of computers. And right now, everyone wants more computing power. Artificial intelligence, mostly. It needs a place to live, and Applied Digital is building those places. They say it’ll bring in a lot of money, eventually. A monster, even. If everything goes according to plan, of course.

Their last quarter, ending November 30, was… enthusiastic. Revenue soared 250%. That’s a big number. But they also lost money. Building things costs money. It’s a simple equation, really. And these data centers don’t sprout overnight. They take time. Like growing a tree.

They have customers lined up, eager to rent this computing power. That’s good. Very good. So, Nvidia selling its shares? Noise. Just noise. If you think Applied Digital has a future, don’t let Nvidia’s decision bother you. It’s just a big company making a big company decision. So it goes.

The important thing, as always, is to remember that the universe is indifferent. And that even the most carefully laid plans can go awry. But we build data centers anyway. We invest in companies anyway. We hope for the best. And then, we wait.
