The initial preview for “Nobody 2” has been released, and Bob Odenkirk reprises his role as Hutch Mansell, once again demonstrating his exceptional talent for causing trouble for those who threaten his family. The highly anticipated follow-up to the 2021 box office sensation is set to hit theaters on August 15th.
In the sequel film “Nobody 2“, character Hutch continues to repay a substantial $30 million debt to the Russian mafia, executing assassinations worldwide. Despite his proficiency, this work strain is affecting his domestic life. To rekindle their bond, Hutch and his wife Becca (Connie Nielsen) decide to take their children on a trip to Wild Bill’s Majestic Midway and Waterpark – a nostalgic nod to Hutch’s childhood memories.
Vacation Turns Violent
In Plummerville, situations quickly turn tense. Following an altercation with locals, Hutch finds himself in the crosshairs of a corrupt amusement park proprietor, John Ortiz, and his deputy accomplice, Colin Hanks. However, these challenges pale in comparison to the looming menace – Sharon Stone portraying a ruthless, vengeful criminal mastermind who pushes Hutch to his breaking point.
The Cast and Crew
I’m part of a stellar ensemble, following in the footsteps of Bob Odenkirk. Among us are Nielsen, Gage Munroe, Paisley Cadorath, RZA portraying Hutch’s brother Harry, Christopher Lloyd as our father figure, and Stone stepping into the role of the latest antagonist.
The second movie titled “Nobody 2” was helmed by director Timo Tjahjanto, while the screenplay was penned by Derek Kolstad and Aaron Rabin. Interestingly, it was Kolstad who not only crafted the characters but also wrote the script for the first film in the series.
The group responsible for production consists of Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, Marc Provissiero, Braden Aftergood, and the actor himself (Bob Odenkirk). David Hyman holds the role of executive producer.
Nobody 2 lands in theaters August 15.
