Nintendo Switch 2 and Lego Gameboy Coming in 2025

The Switch 2 is anticipated to offer full compatibility with older games, enabling users to play both digital and physical versions of games originally released on the Switch, along with gaining access to the Switch Online collection.

Although the exact features haven’t been publicly announced, there are hints from leaks and patents that the console could potentially feature an 8-inch 1080p screen, two USB-C charging ports, and upgraded magnetic Joy-Cons. A brief, 15-second video featuring intricate Lego parts, such as the distinctive purple control buttons and D-pad of the Game Boy, along with its traditional melody, was posted on social media.

The Lego Game Boy construction set is one of a series of joint projects between Lego and Nintendo. In the past, they’ve created items such as a Lego Nintendo Entertainment System, a vintage TV, a $300 Lego Great Deku Tree, and numerous Mario-themed sets. At this time, the cost and specifics for the Lego Game Boy set have not been disclosed.
