Nintendo revealed that Pikmin 4 will receive a free update in November 2025, introducing Decor Pikmin. These Pikmin originally appeared in the mobile game, Pikmin Bloom, and the update will bring some of them to the main Pikmin 4 game. Plus, entirely new Decor Pikmin will be added, and you’ll be able to send them back to Pikmin Bloom as well.
This update introduces the Field Camera, a new feature for taking photos in the game. You’ll be able to experiment with different viewpoints, apply filters, and even hide characters from the shot. This feature is also linked to the arrival of Decor Pikmin.
The update also includes new difficulty options. Relaxed mode prevents enemies from attacking unless you attack first, making for a more peaceful experience. Fierce mode increases the challenge. You can switch between these modes whenever you like, so don’t hesitate to try them out!
