Nikki Glaser playfully exchanged jokes on social media with someone who noted that Glaser might have been upset for not hosting the Golden Globes when Taylor Swift was there. Although Glaser hosted this year’s ceremony, she admitted that she would have liked to be asked last year, as Taylor Swift, a Grammy winner, attended as an audience member instead.
One user commented on X, “Is it possible Nikki Glaser feels annoyed because she hosted this year rather than last year, when Taylor Swift was there?” In a witty reply to the tweet, the actress humorously said, “Well, of course I did!
Beyond her success at the Grammys, Taylor Swift has previously been nominated for Golden Globes as well. Last year, instead of being nominated again, she attended the awards show to promote her Eras Tour film, which turned out to be a blockbuster, much like the tour itself.
Earlier, Glaser shared with People Magazine that her Eras Tour experience includes covering travel costs, accommodation, flights for anyone she invites, concert tickets, and merchandise as well.
She explained her reasoning for the expense by stating, ‘Since I don’t have children, a decision I made intentionally after grappling with it, I find justifiable.’
