On his thirtieth birthday, Connor Cruise – the offspring of iconic movie stars Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman – shared an uncommon peek into his personal life with his followers.
Connor decided to put up on his Instagram Stories some images and clips initially shared by his friends. These posts showcased a few of his preferred pastimes like fishing and attending baseball matches.
A memorable image featured Connor alongside the Phillie Phanatic, the Philadelphia Phillies’ mascot, in a collective photograph that bore a birthday message penned by a friend as its caption.
Phillie captioned, “Happy Birthday Hermano,” to which Connor replied with a warm “Thanks, bro!”
In another post, a friend shared a touching photo of Connor in a Santa suit from a Christmas gathering, marking two decades of strong friendship with a loving caption.
Friend’s message: “After 20 years and 2 million adventures, I wish you a happy birthday, my dear brother.”
Connor’s response: “Thank you so much, buddy!” (This conveys the same sentiment but in more casual and contemporary language.)
It appeared that fishing was the central motif for Connor’s birthday festivities, as various images and videos depicted him and his companions displaying large catches amidst the water. One of the friends even labeled one of these photos with a birthday greeting, to which Connor responded with prayer emojis.
Born in 1990 while Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise were still married (until their divorce in 2001), Connor Cruise is a sibling to Isabella, who’s currently 32 years old. Afterwards, Kidman wed musician Keith Urban, and together they have two daughters named Sunday and Faith. Simultaneously, Cruise shares a daughter called Suri with his former spouse, Katie Holmes.
