Nicole Kidman recently surprised and delighted people at Sydney Airport with a return to her naturally curly, red hair. The 58-year-old actress, who has favored sleek, straight styles and hairpieces for the past ten years, looked relaxed and glowing as she walked through the terminal on February 11th.
She paired her curls with a stylish navy Chanel coat, dark jeans, and designer sunglasses, creating an effortlessly chic and understated look. Completing her outfit were white sneakers and a small black Chanel handbag, highlighting her new role as a global ambassador for the brand.
This curly style is a noticeable change from her recent public appearances. Fans had previously noticed she was wearing a hairpiece during Paris Fashion Week that didn’t quite match her natural hair texture.
The actress seems to be focusing on self-care and spending time with family while in Australia. After a busy year of work and fashion events, she returned home for the holidays to give her hair a break and enjoy a more relaxed pace. This Christmas season was especially meaningful, as it was her first in Australia since finalizing her divorce from Keith Urban in January, following their separation in September 2025.
While traveling, Nicole Kidman also celebrated her youngest daughter, Faith Margaret’s, 15th birthday on December 28th. She shared a sweet and candid moment from their private celebration online, posting a fresh-faced photo of herself holding Faith and sporting her natural, curly hair – the same style she was seen with at the airport. Many people have commented that Kidman looks her best when she embraces her natural beauty and those iconic “strawberry ginger” curls that made her famous in the early 90s.

Nicole Kidman continues to be highly successful in her career, even with changes in her personal life. She’s preparing for the release of a new psychological thriller, Scarpetta, on Amazon Prime Video on March 11th. The show, based on the popular novels by Patricia Cornwell, stars Kidman as Dr. Kay Scarpetta, a determined medical examiner, and features Jamie Lee Curtis as her sister, Dorothy.
In addition to her role in the crime series Scarpetta, Nicole Kidman will also star in the Apple TV+ drama Margo’s Got Money Troubles, premiering on April 15th. The show reunites her with Elle Fanning, and is based on Rufi Thorpe’s popular novel. This continues Kidman’s pattern of both producing and acting in well-regarded adaptations of books.
