Nicole Kidman returned to the Academy Awards on March 15th, making her first appearance at the event since 2023. The 56-year-old actress wowed the audience at the Dolby Theatre. She wore a stunning pale pink, strapless Chanel gown adorned with intricate sequins and dramatic feathers at the waist and hem. Her hair, styled in soft waves by Adir Abergel, completed a timeless Hollywood look.
Nicole Kidman was a standout at the 98th Academy Awards, where she presented alongside her Moulin Rouge! co-star Ewan McGregor. The duo thrilled fans with a surprise 25th-anniversary celebration of their popular movie musical, even performing a few lines from the famous Elephant Love Medley before announcing the Best Picture winner.
Kidman shared that the Oscars always feel like coming home, remembering how, as a young girl growing up in Australia, the ceremony symbolized everything she hoped to achieve in the film industry.

I recently chatted with Nicole Kidman, and she opened up a bit about life after her split from Keith Urban. She seems really focused on staying positive and prioritizing her kids, saying she’s always striving for what’s best. Family is clearly her biggest concern – she expressed immense gratitude for keeping her family stable and moving ahead. But it’s not all personal life; Nicole’s been incredibly busy professionally! I just finished watching her in the Amazon Prime thriller Scarpetta, where she plays a fascinating forensic pathologist. And keep an eye out for her in the new Apple TV+ series Margo’s Got Money Troubles coming in April – it looks great, and she’s joined by Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Nick Offerman. She’s definitely not slowing down!

One of Nicole Kidman’s most exciting upcoming projects is a reunion with Sandra Bullock. They’ve finished filming Practical Magic 2, the sequel to the beloved 1998 film, and will once again play the Owens sisters, who are witches. Directed by Susanne Bier, the movie is set to come out on September 11th and will also star returning favorites Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing, as well as new cast members Joey King and Maisie Williams.
Nicole Kidman consistently proves she’s one of the most adaptable and long-lasting actors in Hollywood, seamlessly moving between acclaimed TV series, popular film franchises, and other exciting projects. Her talent for both deeply emotional roles and large-scale blockbusters has made her a fixture in the entertainment world. Despite balancing these demanding commitments with being a devoted mother to Sunday and Faith, she remains incredibly dedicated and ambitious.
