The short preview shows Nicolas Cage’s character urging his son – who is portrayed as a young Jesus – to pray for the strength to fight against Satan, which he pronounces as “Say-tawn.” Jesus asks what Satan looks like, and Cage responds that Satan appears as ordinary people around us. The clip ends with Jesus asking his father if he’s ever encountered Satan.
This movie is definitely going to spark a lot of conversation! I never expected a horror film about Jesus’s childhood, especially one starring Nicolas Cage and FKA Twigs as Mary and Joseph. But here it is – a truly unexpected project.
What Is the Release Date for Nicolas Cage’s The Carpenter’s Son, a Biblical Horror Film About Jesus’ Childhood?
You’ll soon be able to see the movie ‘The Carpenter’s Son’ in theaters this fall, starring Nicolas Cage as Jesus’ father.
