What is Whistle about?

The story centers around a group of high school outcasts who accidentally discover a cursed artifact – an old Aztec Death Whistle.

The characters discover that using the whistle – and the frightening sound it makes – will actually call their future selves to come and hunt them.

With more and more people dying, the friends race to uncover the history of the dangerous object, hoping to break the terrible cycle they accidentally started.

Cast and Creative Team

The new trailer reveals that Dafne Keen will lead the cast of this horror film, which features an ensemble cast including Sophie Nélisse, Sky Yang, Jhaleil Swaby, Ali Skovbye, Percy Hynes White, Michelle Fairley, and Nick Frost. Corin Hardy directed the movie, based on a short story and screenplay by Owen Egerton.

Release and Rating

The movie Whistle has been given an R rating and will be released in US theaters on February 6, 2026, by Independent Film Company and Shudder.
