The fifth and final season of Stranger Things is almost here! Volume one will be released on November 26th. We’ve already gotten a trailer, lots of hints about what’s to come, and even some unique food collaborations. Now, along with everything else, some fun behind-the-scenes photos have been released. They show Dustin channeling Eddie Munson (complete with a slightly questionable Hellfire Club shirt) and the return of a classic Stranger Things pairing – Stonathan, reminiscent of season one. Check out all the new photos below.
Beyond seeing Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin channeling Eddie in the latest photos from Stranger Things 5 (seriously, what happened to his shirt?), and a surprising reunion between Jonathan and Steve, we also get fresh glimpses of Will and Eleven, Nancy and Mike, Robin and Lucas, and Erica Sinclair – all characters we adore.
We realize not everyone will survive the final season, but it’s good to see the characters looking optimistic and enthusiastic right now. Interestingly, Vecna wasn’t included in the recently released photos from Stranger Things 5.
In the fall of 1987, Hawkins is still reeling from the damage caused by the Rifts. Our heroes are determined to find and destroy Vecna, but he’s disappeared, and no one knows where he is or what he’s planning. Things are further complicated by a military quarantine imposed on the town and a government hunt for Eleven, forcing her to go into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance nears, a sense of dread returns. The final showdown is coming, and it will be more dangerous than anything they’ve ever experienced. To finally defeat the evil they face, everyone – the entire group – will need to stand together for one last time.
Here are the release dates for the final season of Stranger Things. All episodes will be available at 5 PM Pacific Time / 8 PM Eastern Time.

- This includes episodes one through four.
- Stranger Things 5, Volume 2 releases on Christmas (December 25)
- This includes episodes five through seven.
- Stranger Things 5, Volume 3 releases on New Year’s Eve (December 31)
- This is the finale episode, or episode eight.
