November is a great month for science fiction fans! There are exciting new releases coming to both movie theaters and streaming services, including continuations of popular stories and completely original shows. You’ll find everything from big-budget blockbusters and mind-bending thrillers in cinemas, to brand new series and returning seasons at home. Get ready for stories set on alien planets, dark visions of the future, fresh takes on classic books, dinosaur adventures, and the final episodes of a hugely popular sci-fi show. Below, you’ll find a complete list of what’s coming this month, with details on where and when you can watch it all.

‘Predator: Badlands’ (2025)

The latest Predator film explores the inner world of the Yautja, following Dek, a young outcast, and Thia, a damaged synthetic human, as they struggle to survive on a deadly planet. Their story delves into the traditions and conflicts within Predator clans, with Dek facing a powerful hunter and Thia confronting her identical counterpart, Tessa, who has different intentions. Unlike previous films, this one focuses on battles between Predators and showcases advanced technology from other worlds, moving away from hunts on Earth. It hits theaters November 7th, and will be available in premium formats like IMAX and RealD 3D.

‘The Running Man’ (2025)

This film is based on the Stephen King novel (originally published under the name Richard Bachman) and tells the story of Ben Richards, who joins a dangerous game where people – called ‘runners’ – try to evade capture for a month to win a huge cash prize. The movie closely follows the book’s themes of media obsession and features a global manhunt, portraying a society addicted to a violent and popular TV show. Directed by Edgar Wright, the film stars Glen Powell, Colman Domingo, and Josh Brolin. It will be released in theaters on November 14, with options for premium large format viewing.

‘Altered’ (2025)

In a near-future world where people with genetic enhancements rule, Leon and Chloe are on a mission to uncover a conspiracy. They start as rebels fighting on the streets, but quickly find themselves caught up in a dangerous plot involving powerful companies, corrupt politicians, and the controversial practice of genetically modifying humans. The story explores the ethical implications of these enhancements, and features thrilling chases that test the limits of those who’ve been modified. The film arrives in theaters on November 21st.

‘Pluribus’ (2025)

Vince Gilligan, the creator of shows like ‘Breaking Bad,’ is back with a new series set in Albuquerque. The story follows Carol Sturka, a writer who mysteriously remains unaffected by a strange event causing everyone else to become excessively cheerful and obedient. As this ‘happiness contagion’ spreads, Carol finds herself both in danger and as the key to solving the crisis. The show, which stars Rhea Seehorn, combines compelling characters with thought-provoking science fiction. The first season of nine episodes will debut on Apple TV+ with two episodes on November 7th, followed by new episodes each week.

‘Frankenstein’ (2025)

Guillermo del Toro’s new film offers a fresh take on Mary Shelley’s “Frankenstein,” starring Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi as his creation. The Creature is portrayed as a vulnerable being, like a newborn, who rapidly learns and craves acceptance. The movie focuses on the complex bond between creator and creation, following Victor’s growing obsession and the Creature’s journey to find a place where he belongs, all set against the backdrop of snowy Europe. Mia Goth also stars in this adaptation, which closely follows the original 1818 novel’s themes of responsibility and loneliness. Following a brief release in theaters, the film will be available on Netflix starting November 7th.

‘Jurassic World: Chaos Theory’ (2024)

The next chapter of ‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ is coming to Netflix on November 20th. The six campers find themselves caught up in a worldwide plot involving weaponized dinosaurs and a cover-up linked to BioSyn. This season, which takes place before the events of ‘Jurassic World Dominion,’ sees the team move from secret missions to full-on battles, with returning characters on both sides. Get ready for new dinosaurs, action happening off the island, and storylines that wrap up character journeys from the earlier seasons on Isla Nublar.

‘Stranger Things’ (2016)

The last season begins in the fall of 1987, with the town of Hawkins still recovering from the damage caused by the openings to another dimension. The group of friends prepares for a final battle against Vecna and the creatures of the Upside Down. The season is released in three parts: the first four episodes will be available on November 26th, with more episodes coming around Christmas and a long finale on New Year’s Eve, bringing the entire story to a close. Both familiar and new characters return as the mysteries of the Upside Down – its beginnings and what it truly is – are finally revealed.

‘WondLa’ (2024)

The latest season of Skydance Animation’s ‘WondLa’ continues Eva Nine’s journey across the world of Orbona. She’s still searching for the legendary WondLa, and along the way, she’s forming friendships with creatures like Rovender and Otto. This final chapter reveals more about Orbona’s history and Eva’s surprising connection to humanity’s past, answering questions that have been building throughout the series. The show is known for its imaginative world, unique plants and animals, and this season sees Eva facing those who want to control her future. It will be available globally on Apple TV+ starting November 26.
