Amazon MGM has unveiled another trailer for Project Hail Mary, giving fans a longer look at the exciting sci-fi thriller starring Ryan Gosling. This new trailer focuses on the core of the movie: the surprising connection between Gosling’s character and an alien, and how they team up to protect both of their worlds.
Gosling’s Mission Gets Clearer
In the movie, Ryan Gosling stars as Ryland Grace, a scientist who wakes up with amnesia on a spaceship. He soon discovers he’s humanity’s last hope to prevent a catastrophic event. The latest trailer highlights the bond he forms with an alien ally, both working together to save Earth, and shows the emotional heart of the film.
From the Team Behind The Martian and Spider-Verse
Based on the popular novel by Andy Weir, Project Hail Mary is a science fiction story with a lot of heart. It’s directed by the Academy Award-winning team of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, and the screenplay was written by Drew Goddard, who also adapted The Martian. Ryan Gosling stars in and produces the film.
Big-Screen Release Set for 2026
Amazon MGM will release the movie Project Hail Mary in theaters and IMAX starting March 20, 2026. Sandra Hüller and Milana Vayntrub will star in the film, and Greig Fraser, known for his work on Dune, is the cinematographer.
