New Mobile Features Allows Netflix Viewers to Save and Share Favorite Moments

As a seasoned gamer and Netflix enthusiast who’s spent countless hours immersed in various digital worlds, I can’t help but feel a sense of exhilaration when I heard about the new Moments feature from Netflix. I’ve always found myself replaying my favorite scenes on loop, especially those heart-pounding moments from shows like Squid Game or the eerie twists in Wednesday.

Everyone has a specific Netflix series that continues to play in their mind long after watching it. This could be the emotional scene of Joyce speaking through Christmas lights with her missing son in ‘Stranger Things’, the suspenseful bridge game from ‘Squid Game’, or perhaps a romantic moment from ‘Bridgerton’. Now, you can preserve these memorable instances and replay them as often as desired. Through Tudum, we’ve discovered about Moments, a new mobile functionality that enables fans to save, revisit, and even share their favorite Netflix scenes. The global release of Moments is scheduled for October 28 on iOS devices. It will be available on Android devices a few weeks later.

The Moments feature lets you save specific scenes from your favorite Netflix show or movie on your phone for later viewing. To do this, simply tap “Moments” at the bottom of your screen when you reach the scene you want to bookmark. This will automatically store it in your My Netflix tab, allowing you to revisit and watch it again whenever you wish from your phone. When you choose to rewatch the movie or episode, it will start playing from the marked scene. Moreover, users can share these saved scenes on various social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

From their official statement on their website, Netflix explains that the new feature they’ve introduced, called “Moments,” allows users to save and share memorable scenes from shows like the nail-biting final battle in “BEEF” or the suspenseful twists in “Wednesday.” With season two of “Squid Games” set to return on December 26th, it’s an ideal opportunity to rewatch those thrilling game sequences from the first season and prepare for what’s to come. It remains to be seen whether Netflix viewers will make extensive use of the Moments feature, but if they do, it could serve as a significant source of free publicity for the streaming service.
