It’s hard to believe, but it seems like some of the most cherished comic book characters are now part of the classic turn-based card game that everyone adores – Magic: The Gathering! And it’s true! Marvel’s top-tier wall-crawler, Spider-Man, along with his friends and foes, have officially teamed up with Wizards of the Coast for this exciting collaboration. At the 2025 San Diego Comic-Con, Wizards revealed several new cards for the set, which you can find in the gallery below!

At the panel gathering, participants were treated to an exclusive preview of some remarkable cards soon to be added to the collection, which included:
Display an assortment of Scene Cards that when put together, create a captivating image reminiscent of a comic book panel.
Cards showcasing famous Spider-Man comic artwork by artists like Steve Ditko, highlighting well-known characters, are available.
According to the press release, ‘Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man’ initiates a fresh phase in the Magic-Marvel partnership, building upon the well-received Secret Lair drop from earlier this year and set for conclusion at the end of 2024. This collection offers players exhilarating encounters, as depicted on the cards, which include characters such as Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy, and adversaries like Venom, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, among others.
Experience the thrill of high-flying adventures and heroic feats as Magic: The Gathering meets Marvel’s Spider-Man! This unique blend showcases Spidey’s agility, resourcefulness, and indomitable spirit through stunning artwork and gameplay mechanics that mirror his acrobatics, creativity, and unwavering duty.
As a cinephile eagerly anticipating the big premiere, I’m thrilled to share that starting from the first week of September, we’ll be unveiling more tantalizing previews and fascinating product details leading up to the grand global release scheduled for September 26th.
