Disney+ has released a first look at characters from the second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, including Percy, Annabeth, and Sally. The new season, which adapts the book The Sea of Monsters, will begin streaming on December 10th.

A year after the events of the first season, Percy returns to Camp Half-Blood only to discover it’s being attacked by Kronos’ army.
Percy’s friend, Grover, is lost, and Percy has to travel into the Sea of Monsters to find the Golden Fleece and bring him home.
In February 2024, the show was officially picked up for a second season. Disney+ was so confident in its success that they announced a third season in March, even before the second one began airing. The third season will be based on the book The Titan’s Curse.
In April 2024, Albert Kim joined the show as a new executive producer. Writers began working on the second season as early as March 2023, and they started planning the third season in late February 2024.
Season two filming began on August 1, 2024, in Vancouver and concluded on January 31st. Disney+ has also shared some first-look images of the characters, offering fans a preview of the new season.
The series will delve deeper into its characters, with upcoming seasons offering a more detailed look at Chiron’s disability. Season two will build on the world of Camp Half-Blood and continue to bring the exciting stories from Rick Riordan’s books to the screen.
