In the future, the “Knight Rider” film by the makers of “Cobra Kai” could present a significantly changed version of the iconic KITT, as recent gossip hints at an electric vehicle playing the main part instead.

YouTuber Claims Electric KITT

As per reports from the Tachyon Pulse YouTube channel, plans are underway to create an electric vehicle (EV) for a contemporary version of KITT. The proposed design aims to blend elements of futurism with a touch of realism.

The YouTube personality mentions it’ll be an automobile powered by electricity. In my opinion, they might need to create something that pushes the boundaries but still remains grounded in feasibility.

Concept Cars in the Running

Two concept models were named as possible choices for KITT:

  • Chrysler Halycon EV concept (pictured above)

  • Lincoln L100 concept car (pictured above)

The two vehicles embody forward-thinking design concepts, and incorporating either of them into the film could lend it a unique, standout aesthetic.

Real Models Being Considered

Besides concept vehicles, Tachyon Pulse indicates that they are considering the production of two current electric models that have already caught their attention.

Both models could deliver a streamlined and robust appearance for KITT, maintaining consistency with the film’s contemporary atmosphere.

Sponsorship Could Decide KITT

In simpler terms, the YouTube creator mentioned that the decision might boil down to which brand is prepared to negotiate a partnership or endorsement agreement.

In other words, the project requires several vehicles, with an approximate price of $100,000 per vehicle, and it’s preferable to have three to four vehicles given free of charge. This decision on which car will be the next incarnation of KITT could hinge upon this arrangement.

The YouTuber stated that they expect negotiations with the automobile manufacturer. Essentially, they are aiming for a partnership or sponsorship agreement. Therefore, the choice of which company offers free vehicles during filming could significantly influence the outcome.

He notes that these items are likely to cost around 100,000 dollars each. Therefore, if someone is interested in acquiring several of them (perhaps three or four), they might be looking for a way to obtain them without paying.
