New DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Stout and Bourbon for Its 50th Anniversary

As a seasoned gamer and connoisseur of fine beverages, I must say this collaboration between New Holland Brewing & Distilling Co. and Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast subsidiary for Dungeons & Dragons’ 50th anniversary has truly piqued my interest! The idea of a D20 Brew Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout and Origin Mead Cask Bourbon Whiskey, both inspired by the beloved tabletop role-playing game, is nothing short of epic.

New Holland Brewing & Distilling Company is teaming up with Hasbro’s Wizards of the Coast branch for a celebration of the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons. Look forward to the unveiling of new beer and bourbon inspired by D&D on November 16.

New Holland Brewing is expanding its popular Dragon’s Milk series by introducing two exclusive, D&D themed products: a D20 Brew Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout and an Origin Mead Cask Bourbon Whiskey. These bourbon-infused beverages can be purchased online via the Dragon’s Milk website or in selected retail stores.

The drinks will arrive in uniquely crafted gift sets, which include exclusive D&D items for this release. At present, you can preorder the merchandise from our collaboration with D&D and Dragon’s Milk online. This collection offers a t-shirt, beanie, hat, and a distinctive glass called a snifter. For clarity, a snifter is a type of glass designed to hold small quantities of alcohol, featuring a wide base that narrows towards the top. Unlike traditional wine glasses, it usually does not have a stem or is short-stemmed.

Our recent introduction of Dragon’s Milk has sparked excitement among craft beverage aficionados and fantasy fans in equal measure. Since we unveiled it in September, the level of interest from both our devoted Dragon’s Milk drinkers and the dedicated Dungeons & Dragons community has been remarkable.

Currently, the Dragon’s Milk collection boasts an array of beverages aged in bourbon barrels, such as stouts, red ales, and golden ales. Furthermore, there is a special Dragon’s Milk Reserve edition that offers seasonal tastes like coffee-chocolate, oatmeal cookie, and s’mores. Once a year, they also produce a limited stout called Dragon’s Triple Mash.

Dragon’s Milk offers a variety of high-malt bourbons, both 80-proof and 101-proof, which can be found all year round. New Holland Brewing additionally releases limited editions of single barrel cask strength bourbon. For those who prefer flavored options, there are choices like s’mores, apple pie, and sweet heat. If you’re looking for a higher quality product, they also offer small-batch bourbons, which can differ in proof level and age.

Dragon’s Milk has been recognized with several accolades, such as Gold at the New York International Beer Contest and Silver at the Great American Beer Festival. Moreover, their Small Batch Bourbon was awarded a double gold medal at the 2022 New York International Spirits Awards.
