The upcoming movie titled ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ is a much-anticipated superhero film where Sam Wilson will assume the role of Captain America for the first time. This is the fourth film in the ‘Captain America’ franchise, and it follows on from the TV series ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’, which premiered in 2021.
In my view, I’m captivated by this movie that has been masterfully directed by Julius Onah. He collaborated on the screenplay with Peter Glanz and Matthew Orton, creating a storyline that’s truly engaging. The charismatic Anthony Mackie takes on the role of Sam Wilson / Captain America, alongside other talented actors such as Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, and Harrison Ford. It’s going to be an enthralling ride!
In the film, Sam Wilson gets entangled in a global crisis where he confronts multiple world governments and the Red Hulk. Various confidential sources suggest that the fallen Celestial and adamantium artifacts will be crucial elements, with various nations vying to harness their power for secretive research projects.
The advertising for the upcoming movie is gradually picking up pace since it’s set to release in a couple of weeks on February 14th. Notably, the newest Tide commercial, which showcases scenes from the film, introduces one of the beloved side characters from the Ant-Man series – Dale, who manages Baskin-Robbins.
In the movie franchise, titled ‘Ant-Man’ and ‘Quantumania’, the character portrayed by Gregg Turkington (Dale) made appearances, with both films premiering in 2023.
In 2015, Dale took Scott Lang on as an employee, but let him go after learning that Lang had served three years in prison for burglary and had lied about his criminal history on his job application. However, despite this, Dale expressed admiration for Lang’s burglary exploits and said he wouldn’t report Lang if he stole something small on his way out, which Lang did by taking a smoothie as he left the premises.
2026 saw Dale reuniting with Scott Lang, now famously recognized as the superhero Ant-Man. Dale welcomed him back to Baskin-Robbins and bestowed upon him the title of “Star Employee of a Century“, giving him a congratulatory handshake amidst the flashing cameras. A few days after, Dale showcased his baking talent by creating an intricate ant-shaped cake for Scott’s daughter, Cassie Lang.
Since it’s merely a humorous advertisement, it’s uncertain if Dale will appear in the forthcoming film.
