There’s a lot of chatter swirling around the internet suggesting that actress Neve Campbell, known for her role in Scream, might be taking on the character of Polaris within the Marvel X-Men universe.
However, what was not initially being said is what project.
According to speculation, it’s being widely discussed that 51-year-old actress Neve Campbell might portray the character of Polaris, who is Magneto’s daughter, in the upcoming movies Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars. These films are currently under production.
It turns out that, as previously revealed, Ian McKellen will reprise his role as Magneto, now 85 years old. Considering this, it seems logical for him to have a 50-year-old daughter in the storyline.
Is Neve Campbell really playing Polaris?
It seems that Neve Campbell will be providing the VOICE for Polaris in the X-Men ’97 animated series. If this is true, it would mean that Campbell will be taking over from Terri Hawkes, who previously voiced Polaris in two episodes of the original X-Men animated series.
CBM has since updated their clickbait article:
Despite Campbell being chosen to portray Polaris in a future X-Men production, our information indicates that she’ll instead provide the voice for the character in season 2 of “X-Men ’97”.
Who knows if that is even true, so take everything with a grain of salt.

In the Marvel Universe, Polaris (or Lorna Dane) is a mutant, born to the legendary figure, Magneto. Like her father, she can control magnetism, making her one of the most formidable mutants. She’s recognized by her distinctive green hair, her intricate bond with Magneto, and her significant contributions to crucial mutant narratives.
