In the summary provided by the makers and streaming service, the episodes will proceed with FBI agent Peter Sutherland, who was given the chance to join the covert Night Agency team in Season 2 due to his successful attempt to protect the President during Season 1. However, working within this clandestine Night Action organization will thrust Peter into a realm where peril lurks around every corner and trust is scarce.
In the meantime, enthusiasts of the series can look forward to the start of production on season 3 towards the end of 2024, with filming taking place in Istanbul. Later, in 2025, the cast will be back in New York to wrap up the remaining scenes.
At the conclusion of Season 1, Peter and Rose completed a mission successfully, managing to prevent the President from being assassinated. In an unexpected turn of events, Peter was immediately promoted to the role of night agent, leaving Rose behind. As for the future, showrunner Shawn Ryan offers tantalizing clues about what we might expect in Season 2.
