The series centers around Bennie Upshaw, played by Mike Epps, a husband and father who often creates his own problems as he tries to provide for his family. The show stars Wanda Sykes, Kim Fields, Khali Spraggins, Jermelle Simon, and Journey Christine. Wanda Sykes and Regina Hicks not only created the series but also oversee it as showrunners and executive producers. Mike Epps, Page Hurwitz, and Niles Kirchner are also producers on the show.
